NEW YORK, Dec. 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hudson Highland Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq:HHGP), one of the world–s leading providers of permanent recruitment,
contract professionals and talent management solutions, today announced that
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jon Chait intends to retire from the
company at its annual meeting of shareholders on April 28, 2011.

–After careful deliberation I have decided it is time for the company to
transition to a new leader,– Chait said. –Hudson is progressing well in the
aftermath of the global downturn and we have an excellent senior leadership
team in place. After eight years at the helm I think this is a good time for me
to move on to a new chapter in my life and for a new leader to take Hudson to
the next level. I have discussed this with our Board of Directors and we have
agreed to engage Spencer Stuart to conduct the search for a CEO. They will
consider both internal and external candidates.–
