On 1 January 2015, Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Barthauer as the managing shareholder of Barthauer Software GmbH welcomed Dipl.-Inform. Anis Saad who is now at his side as the company–s second director. They will jointly manage the company and represent its interests going forward.

Jürgen Barthauer: “After managing the company on my own for nearly 30 years, the time had come to reinforce company management.” In the newly created position, Saad who is based at the company headquarters in Braunschweig will be responsible for the further development of the BARTHAUER software in the fields of production, consulting and administration while Barthauer is responsible for sales, marketing and finance. Barthauer adds: “I am very pleased that I have found a highly reliable individual, who is intimately familiar with our firm, as the company–s second director in the person of Anis Saad. With this step, we have further strengthened our company’s solid basis, making it fit for the future over decades.”

Anis Saad joined the company as a student trainee in September of 1991, first working as a software developer and later as head of the software production department. During his time with the company, he made a major contribution to the successful development of the BARTHAUER software. This not only includes the database-driven network information system BaSYS, but also GeoDS which offers the building blocks for individual information systems. Anis Saad has held shares in the firm as a shareholder since 2002 already.

Anis Saad about his new responsibilities: “In my new position, I will continue doing everything I can to effectively incorporate innovative ideas into our infrastructure management software and services. I would like to express my thanks for the confidence being place in me, and I look forward to working with Jürgen Barthauer as we pursue the company’s growth.”

With the expanded company management, BARTHAUER will overcome the challenges of diversification, internationalisation and marketing for proven and newly developed products with increased specialisation in all divisions.
