Sberbank Awarded by Deutsche Bank for STP Excellence

1 September 2011, Moscow – A representative of Deutsche Bank AG, Mr. Tim
Fyfe, Director of CIB Global Transaction Banking, presented –2010 USD STP
Excellence Award– and –2010 EUR STP Excellence Award– to Sberbank.

Deutsche Bank has awarded Sberbank for excellen??in formatting payments
routed in 2010 through Sberbank–s Nostro correspondent accounts in US
Dollar and Euro with Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (USA)?Deutsche
Bank AG (Germany) respectively.

As it was emphasised at the presentation ceremony, Sberbank–s
straight-through processing rate in 2010 exceeded 98 p.c., which is one of
the best results amongst the banks maintaining correspondent accounts with
Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Fyfe pointed out that Deutsche Bank is currently adjusting its quality
assessment criterion and tightening the requirements to the formatting of
payments from its correspondent banks worldwide.

In return, Ms. Olga Kanovich, Senior Vice-President of Sberbank, expressed
confidence that Sberbank would undoubtedly be capable to achieve the
highest quality rates in accordance with the new quality assessment
criterion of Deutsche Bank.
