Sergey Ignatyev Elected Supervisory Board Chairman of Sberbank of Russia

June 3, 2011, Moscow – The Supervisory Board of Sberbank of Russia has
elected Sergey Mikhailovich Ignatyev, Chairman of the Central Bank of the
Russian Federation, to the position of Supervisory Board Chairman.

Supervisory Board Chairman of the bank is elected at the Supervisory Board
session following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The election
is performed by the majority of voices belonging to the newly elected
Supervisory Board members. The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of
Sberbank has taken place today, June 3, 2011.
